You need also update software to higher proper version of firmware. Info: Most olders opcom interfaces have PCB v5 version with original PIC18F458 and can do update firmware. Newest opcom interfaces have PCB v6 with chinese fake PIC18F458 or PIC18F4580 or only "Opcom" chip and can NOT do update firmware, because is chip read/write protected.

Example: You can NOT USE new software 131223C to work WITH chinese interface software 100219a (firmwire 1.39 inside of interface). You must have proper firmware (dump) and REPROGRAM interface for new 131223C version OK?

Example: OP-COM China clone ( op-com 100219a aka "08/2010") use fw 1.39 - do not use other firmwear! OP-COM softwares from 2011 use fw1.44 OP-COM softwares from 2012 used fw 1.45 and the softwear released at the END of that year used fw1.47 OP-COM softwares from 2014 used fw1.59
